Ensure boards are packaged according to customers’ specific requirements and with proper ESD handling
Ensure boards are sufficiently packed in shipping boxes
Ensure shipping boxes are correctly labelled according to contents and delivery address as required
Ensure shipping documentation is completed accurately as required
Use various courier computer and online shipping systems as required
Receiving Duties:
Ensure incoming material is received according to purchase order requirements
Ensure customer RMA’s are processed as required
Ensure supplier RMR’s are processed as required
Ensure incoming material discrepancies are resolved
Using the electronic scanning program (Juki), assign the part to appropriate locations
Make sure QA is informed of any damaged incoming shipments
Kitting Duties:
Supervise the preparation of kits of components for production
Ensure correct manufacturer of various components are kitted as required for specific customer’s kits
Notify program managers and buyers of kitting discrepencies
Ensure correct count of components kitted
Issue allocations to jobs as required
Ensure components are properly packaged in kit using ESD handling
Inform Warehouse Manager, Director of Operations or suitable designate if any inventory adjustment is needed
General Duties:
Manage, maintain and upkeep work area within 5S requirements (ie. ensure area is clean, maintained and organized at all times)
Ensure all areas of the warehouse are clean, maintained and organized, and will help other warehouse areas as needed
Inventory Systems Management and Vendor Relations
Must have strong knowledge and understanding of Company’s current Inventory Systems Process and the Application/Software used in the Warehouse
Must have proficiency and capability to train, provide guidance and support Warehouse team members on the electronic inventory system, including proper scanning procedures and documentation
Experiencia y requisitos
3+ years related experience in all warehouse and/or manufacturing, preferably in electronic manufacturing industry or similar setting and/or equivalent combined experience and relevant education
Minimum 6 months warehouse or similar function (logistics, supply chain) experience required
High school diploma/GED completion mandatory
Current and valid forklift certification required
Police Check required for external candidates

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Demonstrated abilities, comfort level and general computer proficiency, knowledge and experience and with electronic scanning inventory computer programs along with MS Office Programs and internal custom database applications
Knowledge of using PDA to locate, modify and place the parts
Knowledge to complete various waybills and use of transportation online systems
Understanding of quality systems
Knowledge and demonstrated understanding of ESD control
Position may involve occasional physical demands such as lifting of heavy objects
Understanding and demonstrated knowledge using ERP systems
Demonstrated experience and understanding of quality systems
Demonstrated understanding of electronic components and stock control
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize assignments, work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Physically capable to work on feet and carry objects of up to 20 lbs as needed
