Responsibilities:

• Collect in-country customs clearance policies and regulations, monitor real-time changes in customs and related government department policies.
• Monitor updates on customs regulations and trade policies that may impact company operations, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Responsible for the operation of Customs in the country, providing customers with high-quality delivery and fulfillment services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, supply chain, and legal departments, to develop strategies for optimizing customs processes and reducing costs.
• Participate in the construction of the customs capacity system to capture in-country needs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, international trade, logistics or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish is required for this role.
• 5 years of experience working with customs regulations, import/export documentation requirements.
• Familiarity with Mexican cross-border B2C customs clearance processes.
• Proven experience in using data to generate insights and solve complex problems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
