Sr Accountant Analyst
POSITION SUMMARY
The Sr. Accounting Analyst will involve in the month-end close in a multiple legal entity structure and applies principles of accounting an analyze financial information and prepare accurate and timely financial reports. The position will report to GL Accounting Supervisor.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review weekly bank reconciliations and prepare journal entries.
• Clearing reconciling items, assisting with process to reduce reconciliation issues.
• Conduct month-end close activities to include the preparation of accounts reconciliations, variance analysis and commentary for the internal financial statements.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly reporting package.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
• Experience with Oracle

QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree /in accounting or business administration.
- 3+ years of experience in accounting area.
- Very proficient in spreadsheets, MS Office, and financial software applications.
- Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Possesses a sense of urgency; identifies challenges and problems and takes the initiative to identify solutions. Ability to coordinate and prioritize.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Associate degree /in accounting or business administration.
