Job Summary:
The
Solutions Architect Supervisor is responsible to design and implement IT systems architectures that meet the set business requirements and aligned with local and regional strategies. Their role starts with gathering the requirements, understanding the specifications, evaluating the systems that are in place, and working closely with stakeholders to define the right solution.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides design solutions to new requirements and bug fixes within an application.
- Collaborates with IS delivery lead and product owner.
- Have designs reviewed by ERB (Enterprise Review Board).
- Provide solutions strictly adhering to enterprise security, compliance and legal standards.
- Provide solutions strictly adhering to enterprise design patterns and enterprise/industry best practices.
- Continuously provides solutions to improve application security, performance, resiliency, scalability, automation, maintainability and cost savings.
- Supports cloud migrations of applications off of on-prem data center.
- Provides guidance and support for test automation, pen tests, performance and chaos tests.
- Assist support teams with troubleshooting and provide solutions to production issues.
- Provide guidance to development and support teams
- Promotes operational excellence through stable, supportable solutions
- Supports operational readiness by using supported platforms and components, and inclusive of monitoring tools/ solutions in designs.

Years of Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in IT.
- 2+ years of experience in Architecture.
- 1+ years of experience of creating cloud solutions, preferably AWS.
- 3+ years of experience of hands-on API (REST/Graph)/microservices design and development (backend), preferably in Node.js, Python or Java.
- Hands-on experience with various developer and dev-ops tools.
- Good understanding of various authentication and authorization frameworks (such as SAML 2.0, Open ID Connect, OAuth 2.0).
- Solid knowledge of API Managers or Gateways.
- Experience of working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Expertise in troubleshooting various technical issues. Able to quickly troubleshoot production issues and provide solutions.
- Solid understanding of production support concepts, importance of application observability / monitoring, and stable, supportable design concepts.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Advanced technical certifications/diploma and/or degree preferred.
