We are looking for a highly motivated Senior QA Engineer with a strong focus on functional testing to ensure the quality of our software products.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in creating comprehensive test plans, executing test cases, and ensuring software functionality meets the requirements. A solid understanding of Jira and test management tools is essential for this role. Additionally, the candidate should have experience participating in Agile ceremonies to help align QA processes with development goals.
Responsibilities:
Review and analyze system specifications and business requirements.
Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
Execute functional, integration, and regression testing.
Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs in Jira.
Collaborate with the development team to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Participate in test planning, requirement reviews, and design reviews.
Validate fixes and perform retesting for defects.
Provide clear, concise, and timely status updates to stakeholders.
Continuously improve testing processes and ensure best practices.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Manual QA Engineer, with a focus on functional testing.
Experience in creating and executing test plans and test cases.
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Familiarity with Jira for defect tracking.Familiarity with Xray, Test Rail or any other test management tool.
Experience in functional, regression, and system testing.
Experience working in an Agile development environment and participating in Agile Ceremonies.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications:Basic knowledge of test automation tools (optional)
ISTQB or other relevant certifications. (optional)
