QA Automation Engineer with Flutter experience
Mexico Remote
Contract Position
Mandatory skills: Flutter, Appium, GCP, CI/CD, Dart, or Golang.
Responsibilities:
· Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for integration and performance testing of Flutter applications.
· Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure test coverage and identify key areas for automation.
· Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases that address all phases of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance.
· Analyze and report on test results, working with the development team to resolve defects and performance issues.
· Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated testing into the development process.
· Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
· Mentor and guide junior QA engineers in best practices for automation and testing.
Experience:
· 5+ years of experience in QA automation, with at least 2 years focused on Flutter applications.
· Proven experience in automating tests for mobile applications, particularly using frameworks like Appium, Flutter Driver, or similar.
· Strong knowledge of integration and performance testing methodologies.
· Experience in scripting and coding for test automation, with bonus points for knowledge in GCP, Flutter, or Golang.
· Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into build pipelines.
Technical Skills:
· Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Appium, Flutter Driver, Selenium, etc.).
· Solid understanding of mobile app architecture and development practices.
· Experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP, and familiarity with microservices architecture.
· Strong coding skills, with a preference for candidates who have experience with Flutter, Dart, and/or Golang.
Soft Skills:
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
· Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Bonus Points For:
· Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
· Coding experience in Flutter, Dart, or Golang.
· Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the developer community.
