Objective:
Responsible for application of training EHS plans, capacitations according to EHS plan, schedules, activities, and milestones in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by Worley. responsible for developing and conducting environmental health and safety training for clients and maintaining course materials. Provides advice and counseling about regulatory compliance with safety, health and environmental laws, codes, regulations, standards. Developing and updating training modules and materials in line with the latest safety standards and regulations, conducting regular safety workshops and seminars for employees at all levels. Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs and making adjustments as necessary. Ensuring that all safety training records are maintained accurately and are up-to-date. Collaborating with management to develop safety policies and procedures. Providing support and guidance to employees on safety-related issues.
Responsibilities:
- Identifies potential training plans or new courses as the project progresses and effectively develops risk mitigation, contingency and project advance requirements on HSE requirements.
- Follows Worley management procedures.
- Keeps detailed project training registers that stays current and is tracked & communicated on a regular basis (at least monthly).
- Utilizes Training Register items as the basis for any project contingency requirements.
- Identifies and understands the customer’s key drivers for training requirements(KPIs).
- Manages and nurtures customer expectations in communication and training protocols
- Nurtures relationships with external vendors and suppliers, communicating technical information related to EHS
- Develops a relationship of trust and respect with ability to discuss challenges and issues in a transparent manner.
Requirements:
- University degree or equivalent in engineering or equivalent experience with professional registration in local juridication.
- Professional registration in local juridication, DC5 desirable. English B1 desirable.
- Typically 3+ years construction experience, including 3 years of relevant HSE supervisory, HSE training technical experience; Workshare experience.
Technical Expertise
- Ensures Worley methodologies, processes, tools and systems are used throughout the project and compliance requirements are met/satisfied.
- Applies knowledge of all aspects of a project (EHS training programs) to oversee the successful execution of the project plan.
- Demonstrates attention to detail.
- Basic exposure and understanding of contracting and on-site construction support.
Work Modality: On site
Contract Type: 3 months. After this, it may be possible to have a contract for a specific project into the company.
