Reporting to the Operation Manager, the Extrusion Engineer role is directly responsible for ensuring that all processes are in control to produce parts and management of continuous process improvement plans in the areas of safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance over lines. The Extrusion Engineer is accountable for meetings and improving production line performance. Driving a culture of continuous improvement in operation is necessary for success.

Partners with Materials, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and Production Team to set achieve center goals and objectives that align with the needs of the Customer and BU targets. o The role consists of direct responsibility for the efficient operations of production lines • Accountable for Key financial indicators as Direct labor rates, Scrap rates and improving process indicator as Yields and plans attainments. • Develop and implement procedures to ensure that manufacturing processes. • Efficient communication about process performance and daily activities. • Determining and implementing world class quality control mindset and standards. • Statistically analyzes gathered data in test runs and makes recommendations based upon analysis. • Creates or constructs bill of materials, process flows and process failure mode effective analysis (PFMEA) • Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met. • Direct Support to production line. Qualification: • Plastic Injection molding background with a minimum of three years of experience in plastics processing. • Must be experienced in mold set-ups, trouble shooting, exposure to maintenance problems.
