Reporting to the Plant Manager you as an Engineering Manager will be responsible for maintaining optimal manufacturing processes, guaranteeing the quality of our products. Will be responsible for providing all the necessary tools to develop and execute the corresponding assignments to the department.

Provide engineering services, implementing standardization (Maintenance Plans, technical training, problem analysis and solution, technology improvement) and developing improvement strategies.

Develop manufacturing systems that meet the quality, capacity required by the client, to maintain, establishing operation and work methods.

Apply the skills and knowledge capable of maintaining, developing, correcting and implementing any manufacturing process and, in turn, the transfer of any production line to a different location of the organization, preserving the quality of our products at the costs established over time.

Propose and justify improvements to existing processes to reduce costs and increase the productivity.

Maintain constant communication with external suppliers regarding delivery times.

Represent the Engineering department in the “MRB” Boards.

Develop and evaluate new technologies aimed at the development of the process as well as its implementation and supervision.

Develop continuous improvement strategies to support company objectives.

Provides solutions to reduce cycle times, ensuring the quality of the producet.

Implement and control capital and budgets.

Establishes recommendations for changes and updates to new products.

Determines what activities are required to improve the production of the products

Analysis of product defects for their solution.

Analysis of Efficiency, Productivity, OEE, Downtime.

Develop, evaluate and search for products as well as carry out cost reduction projects.

Develop improvement strategies.

Establish operating methods and work standards.

Monitor compliance with the established budget.

Participate in the development of activities to maintain manufacturing costs.

Establish, implement and audit production standards and carry out capacity analysis control.

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Manager of Engineering.

Experienced in Engineering change management.

Knowledge of computer packages for problem solving and use of Auto Cad.

Management and administration of projects and new launches.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, knowledge of the Six Sigma methodology.

Core knowledge tools (PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA)
