Job Duties and Qualifications

Under general supervision, an Applied Fluids Optimization (AFO) Modeling Professional provides fluids engineering, application and planning expertise to external customers, operations, business development and Global Technology to support fluid optimization solutions and applications. Reviews workflow and data content for accuracy and recommends revisions as needed. Incorporates Reliability, HSE, and Quality standards into job activities. Assists in responding to questions submitted to the Knowledge Management system and drafts relevant articles to publish. Provides operational and practical perspectives to project development and prioritization, as a member of the PSL Project review team or ISC. Establishes operational performance expectations or specifications. High school diploma required, completion of an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Geology, Computer Science or similar preferred and a minimum of 4 years of experience in PSL Field Operations and/or Business Development as it relates to field operations. Working knowledge of service execution of one or more of the PSL disciplines is preferred. Industry related knowledge is preferred. Must meet the minimum competency requirements for Tech Prof – Baroid Services. Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and complies with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Ensures compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines. Promotes and takes an active part in quality improvement processes. This is not a field position.
