Lead and develop the Accounts Payable team activities and responsibilities maintaining the accuracy of the financial records, ensuring timely invoice payments for third parties and intercompany, under the best practices aligned to the processes and commitments of the company.
Main activities
- Follow up on timely invoice processing through ERP and third parties’ platforms as NAFIN meeting time limits.
- Experience in the Accounts Payable/General Ledger/Travel and Expenses Processes
- Provide guidance and resolution of outstanding payments and transactions.
- Main AP representative for internal and external audits
- Month end & Period close activities
- Reporting & Analysis on payables information
- Capable to work under pressure in a high-speed ambience
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Measure, monitor and report KPI’s related to AP
- Lead optimizations, identify and implement process improvement based on the best practices stablished by the company
- Manage and develop an AP team, ensuring a proper team structure
- Develop employees to take new assignments
- AP blackline reconciliations
- Identify root cause in analysis in errors or metrics and develop corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensures the processes under are performed in compliance with internal policies and SOX.
Requirements

Conversational English

4 + Years of AP experience, or any other related to GL accounting

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting

High attention to detail

Strong Analytical skills

Able to deliver against timelines.

Good knowledge of BS, P&L, Intercompany transactions, and Factoring process

Previous experience leading a team.

Experience working in a global delivery environment is a plus.
