Junior Risk Manager (m/f/d)

As Junior Risk Manager (m/f/d) you will play a key role within the Risk Management team.

Your Responsibilities:

Production of periodical risk reporting for the AIFM and its managed investment funds
Maintenance of policies, guidelines, work instructions and control processes
Periodical monitoring of investment funds for compliance with legal and contractual investment restrictions
Calculation of the risk-bearing capacity for the management company
Production of AIF risk profiles based on their individual investment strategies
Support in the development of risk management systems and the risk assessment procedures used
Monitoring of outsourced activities and regular reporting to Senior Management
Support responses for inquiries from the group, internal/external audit, Senior Management or other stakeholders
Participation in various internal projects

What we look for:

Academic degree in real estate, finance, economics, mathematics or equivalent
Interest in financial markets and risk management of regulated and unregulated fund structures
Basic knowledge of the regulatory requirements for Luxembourg investment funds is an advantage
Fluent in English, written and spoken; good knowledge of German is considered as an advantage
Good command of MS Office applications, in particular Excel, Word and Power Point; VBA, MS Access, SQL and SAP knowledge are considered as an advantage
Team spirit and collaboration skills; inclusive and respect of diversity
Analytical and problem-solving mindset
Critical and innovative thinking
Good communication and interpersonal abilities
