The Wholesale & Business Development Manager will be responsible for expanding the wholesale operations of travel products, developing relationships with retailers and distributors, and executing activation strategies such as shop-in-shop concepts. The role includes identifying and entering new markets, with a focus on international expansion, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Wholesale Expansion:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to grow the wholesale division for travel products domestically and internationally.
- Identify potential retail partners, distributors, and buyers in new markets.
- Negotiate terms and close deals with wholesale clients.
- Market Penetration:
- Research and analyze international markets for travel products.
- Identify legal, cultural, and logistical requirements for expanding into new countries.
- Collaborate with local partners or set up distribution networks in new regions.
- Activation & Shop-in-Shop:
- Plan and implement brand activations to increase the presence of travel products in retail spaces (e.g., pop-up shops, in-store promotions).
- Develop and manage shop-in-shop concepts with retail partners.
- Monitor and evaluate the success of activations to ensure alignment with brand objectives.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key wholesale clients and retail partners.
- Provide exceptional after-sales service and support to ensure long-term partnerships.
- Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Set and achieve sales targets, driving revenue growth for the wholesale division.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create compelling wholesale packages and promotions.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Coordinate with the marketing, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth wholesale operations.
- Lead a small team focused on wholesale operations, activations, and country-specific projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in wholesale, business development, or retail expansion, preferably in travel products or related industries.
- Proven track record of developing and executing wholesale strategies and expansion into new markets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Familiarity with international trade regulations and retail partnerships.
- Ability to travel frequently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: KD600.000 - KD1,000.000 per month
