Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Customer Service Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by managing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing support throughout the shipping and logistics process. This role will involve working closely with our operations, sales, and logistics teams to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests in a professional and timely manner.
Ensure effective communication between customers, internal teams, and external partners to provide status updates on shipments and resolve issues.
Provide guidance and support to junior customer service representatives.
Manage and track shipment documents, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Assist clients with freight forwarding, customs clearance, and other logistics services.
Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes and recommend enhancements.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to resolve service issues and improve overall customer experience.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Prepare reports on customer feedback, service performance, and key metrics for management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service, preferably in the logistics or shipping industry.
Strong knowledge of freight forwarding, customs clearance, and logistics processes.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics management software.
Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is a plus.
