Prepares samples for indicator organisms, sterility tests, working and Master cell cultures.
Applies aseptic techniques in daily workload.
Maintains media and reagents as needed for daily microbiological testing.
Provides routine preventive maintenance by daily cleaning, sanitizing, and trash disposal.
Performs quality control monitoring by taking incubator temperatures, inoculating control organisms, running media controls, etc.
Independently pursues an assigned series of processes, procedures, or techniques in accordance with Zoetis policies and procedures.
Maintains laboratory conditions, to include equipment, supplies, quality assurance programs, and accurate records throughout all procedures.
Performs all activities in a neat, safe, hygienic, and efficient manner.
Shares information in an open, and timely manner.
Performs standard testing procedures and analyses according to assigned priorities and schedule such that individual goals as well as team goals are achieved.
Assists the supervisor in the organization and follow up of the R&D projects with designing and conducting experiments, and then carefully observing and reporting on the results.
Plans and reports results from laboratory and pilot microbiological and fermentation studies.
Performs Process and media development lab trials.
Works together with a multidisciplinary team for complex investigations and problem-solving activities.
