- B.Sc. in Electrical / Computer / SW Engineering
- 8+ years Design / Integration / HW System engineering Experience in at least one area - HW / FW / SW
- 5+ years’ experience working with systems and experience with their SW, FW and HW components

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.
Annapurna Labs, as part of AWS, is looking for an experienced HW/ SW system engineer for the Nitro cards product team (https://aws.amazon.com/ec2/nitro/). Our products include the most advanced interfaces and technologies and widely used across AWS data centers as backbone for Nitro and other services. The candidate will serve as Integration engineer
What you will do: As a member of a product team you will own complex system integration and debugs involving HW, FW and SW components. You will deal with functional and integration aspects related to complex systems integrating several entities interacting with each other through network and/or PCIe. These will be running on Linux, Windows, and bare metal OS. You will be involved in architecture decisions, integrations, deployments and debugging related to complex systems while also providing remote and on-site support to our AWS global colleagues.
You will also provide leadership by driving the teams around you to raise the bar and deliver higher quality product on behalf of Amazon customers. This is a fast-paced, intellectually challenging position, and you will work with thought leaders in multiple areas of technology. You will set high standards for yourself and everyone you work with, and will be constantly looking for ways to improve the performance, quality, cost and reliability of products and services you own. We are changing an industry, and we want individuals who are ready for this challenge and want to reach beyond what is possible today.
Key job responsibilities
Lead architecture/design reviews of the Nitro sub-system within a larger system (such as a cloud server), lead debug and root cause analysis of systems in the fleet & in production.
Analyze complex systems failure points and suggest design to avoid them, or mitigate inevitable ones.
Drive cross-teams tasks, and Co-work with Annapurna Labs teams and additional AWS teams to meet integration plan.
Drive and maintain training, quality documentation and collateral in order to improve Nitro Product Integration.
Define various tools (eg: PCIe interface tests) for Product Integration Testing.
