As a production manager, you'll work in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary group, develop, and qualify solutions in a manufacturing environment, including support and review our global CEM production capabilities. Ensure excellent standards of manufacturability, production execution monitoring, yield improvement and advanced process controls. Collaborate with NVIDIA's greatest teams to maintain strong functional relationships to meet our team requirements and delivery schedules.
What you’ll be doing:
Lead Interconnect production in contract manufacturing factory for NVIDIA, to meet build plan by managing urgent production request, inventory, material and capacity readiness.
Work with CEMs to apply data analytics to implement inventory management to increase flexibility and agility while reducing inventory risks.
You will be working concurrently with our engineering teams, CEMs, and fixtures suppliers, to find the weak points and develop solutions for fixture designs and new processes.
Execute tools and methods to improve CM reporting on component supply vs. demand data output.
Work with operations team in headquarters on daily basis to understand production priority, monitor contract manufacturer supply chain and review plans.
What we need to see:
B.Sc. in Industrial and Management Engineering
5+ years of solid experience in managing suppliers
Direct manufacturing experience in optical/PCBA/electronics assembly in high volume, high mix environment
Requires strong hands-on interaction with production floor including monitoring and troubleshooting job scheduling with restricted capacity, Product schedule monitoring, progress reporting and sophisticated analysis of issues and concerns, ensuring yields, scrap and completions are accounted for and documented
The position requires experience in working with supervisors, managers, engineers, and other functions with the goal of improving throughput at bottleneck equipment, production planning and scheduling, NPI, shop floor supervision and project management
Must have strong experience and understanding of key operations functions, skills in interaction with R&D and process engineering, ability to rapidly establish root cause for output issues and address
Fluent in both oral and written English, be able to communicate in English with multiple nationalities on daily basis. NVIDIA is a global multi-cultural company with conference calls across different time zones required
Languages: English - mandatory, good writing and verbal skills.
