Egis with its partners (altogether called METAV) have been appointed as Network Manager, to work closely with the client in managing the planning, design and construction of 3 new underground metro lines in Tel Aviv. The 3 new metro lines will total 149km and 109 metro stations to serve 24 municipalities. Key figures:

Egis is hiring in the Project Planning & Controls team a Project Planner. You will lead the activities relating to your discipline within our project METAV Tel Aviv Metro Network Manager. This is a unique opportunity to deliver a project across all phases: design, construction until operation. Job Description
Develop, evaluate, compile and present schedule data, and utilize such data to develop schedules for execution of work for large infrastructure projects
Demonstrate familiarity with scheduling concepts of related work activities, logic diagrams, schedule resources, schedule milestones, level of effort, and general presentation of schedules in various formats
Monitor and document construction progress
Identify, track and assist in resolution of construction issues/conflicts
Monitor, review and report on the status of design and construction contract schedule compliance with the contract specifications, and review and provide written summary progress reports stating acceptability or unacceptability of the schedules
Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
Professional with 15 or more years experience in project planning and scheduling.
Previous rail experience is essential, particularly in metro / underground rail projects.
Solid understanding of scheduling software for storing data and presenting schedules in various levels and forms of detail - Primavera, Sure Trak, and/or other scheduling products
Experience with Microsoft Office
Ability to interpret construction schedules (preferred)
