KLA is looking for a Principal Electron-Optics Research Scientist in our Chief Technology Office in Milpitas, CA!
Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in Electron Optics including Optical System design; Lens Design; and Tolerance Analysis of Complex Optical Systems
- Extensive knowledge of high voltage electronics
- Extensive knowledge in surface science of electron-surface interactions
- Extensive knowledge in design and modelling of ultra-high vacuum systems
- Develop and/or provide significant input to the top-level system specifications, sub-system error budget, interfaces and working parameters for the optimum hardware solution
- Stay up to date on related external research and developments
- Collaborate with CTO team to develop new suppliers and research partners when appropriate
- Ability to work in a clean room environment
- Ability to travel up to 10%
The Position is located in the U.S., must be willing to relocate to Milpitas, CA.
The Salary range for this position is between 198500 USD - 347,400 USD
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate (Academic) Degree and related work experience of 8 years; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 12 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 15 years
