What will your job look like?
Provides Operations and Engineering support to a complex, high availability computing environments with over dozens of branch offices and regional Datacenters spread globally and over different public clouds
Maintains Documentation, Network Policies and Security standards
Monitors network for status and potential problems with tools such as Solarwinds Orion(preferred), Cacti/MRTG, Cisco Works, Syslog-ng, HP Openview. (Experience in deploying or maintaining tool environments a plus)
Maintains a broad knowledge of current and emerging state of the art network technologies for problem resolution and project planning
Preparing hardware and software purchase recommendations proposals
Contacts vendors of network equipment for technical assistance and problem resolution
Candidate will be required to be available outside regular business hours to address production problems, perform maintenance, and provide ongoing support. This includes availability both on-site and by telephone. May be required to work any shift including, but not limited to, 12 hour 4-on 4-off work week and/or straight night or weekend shifts without regard to holidays
All you need is...
5+ years of experience in networking and security
Strong interpersonal and communication skills in a global organization
Proven experience in a busy, client-focused environment
Ability to work independently and in a team
Strong problem-solving skills and leadership in resolution activities
Knowledge and experience with: Web security gateways, advanced firewall configuration, public cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), F5 Big IP, DNS, Cisco ACI, Forti Gate, Cisco SDWAN, Cisco Nexus, Linux systems administration
Scripting and coding on network devices (Power Shell, Python, Bash)
