Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Petach Tikva is currently seeking applicants for a General& Spare Parts Buyer. Responsible for identifying suppliers, finding products and alternatives, negotiating, and requesting price quotes. Additionally, the role involves providing service to factories, including production planning, warehouse workers, engineers, and department managers. The Buyer is also responsible for issuing and tracking orders, as well as addressing issues related to logistics, quality, and payments.
Job Location:
The company's headquarters is located in Petach Tikva in the Central District. It employs ~60 personnel who provide service and support to the company's 3 factories located in Dimona, Beer Sheva & Migdal Haemek.
In our Petach Tikva offices you may find functions such as: Accounting, Procurement, Human Resources, Logistics, Infrastructure, Business Development, Sales and IT.

What you will be doing:
- Purchasing: Communicating with suppliers, identifying suppliers and alternatives, negotiating with suppliers, and initiating alternatives to ensure the most cost-effective purchasing for the company.
- Leading cost-saving projects and process improvements.
- Service: Providing service to various interfaces in the factories on all purchasing matters.
- Supplier Communication: Receiving price quotes.
- Order Management: Issuing orders as per requirements and tracking orders until receipt.
- Problem Solving: Communicating with logistics on shipping issues, coordinating with factories and suppliers to resolve quality issues, and liaising with accounting regarding incomplete or delayed payments.
- Reports: Regular reporting and activity reports to department heads.
What you will bring along:
- Education: Post-secondary education, Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Logistics - an advantage.
- Experience in purchasing (minimum one year), logistics, technical orientation.
- Computer proficiency.
- High-level English.
