Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in chip design/verification/implementation.
- Experience in initiating methodologies and converting them into flows.
- Experience with the design stages of SOC’s.
- Experience with front end design flows/tools and methodologies.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or Ph D in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 years of experience in hardware, design, and bring-up.
- Experience in driving cross-functional decisions.
- Experience in implementing flows.

Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to develop tools using AI for chip development. Perform or guide technical evaluations of tools for possible deployment.
- Partner with experts from our Chip Design teams, EDA partners, Google Deep Mind, Google Research, and Platform team.
- Optimize EDA flows with AI technology and collaborate with the Tools and Methodologies teams.
- Understand the infrastructure, tools, and libraries required for our research to interface with real-world systems and EDA tools.
- Act as an individual contributor while simultaneously working to shape direction and strategy as the project scales.
