As a Dev Sec Ops Engineer at Via, you will be a key member of the team, responsible for security infrastructure, automation, and streamlining secure pipelines within Via’s cloud environment.
What You’ll Do:

• Define and implement cloud security infrastructure solutions using industry-leading tools
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to create, implement, and manage security products and infrastructure utilized across the company
• Set up and customize log management, orchestration, and response systems
• Operate and manage Sec Ops infrastructure and automation
• Play a key role in evaluating, maintaining, and tuning security products
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for security operation automation workflows
• Continuously improve Sec Ops capabilities and lead new innovations
• Promote a strong security culture driving security awareness and best practices and continual improvement across the business
• Drive the implementation of countermeasures, mitigations, and containment strategies

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a security engineer or in a similar role
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages
• Experience with SIEM/Log management engineering
• Experience with scripting and automation of SOAR/No code automation playbooks (advantage)
• Ability to quickly learn and adopt new security technologies and tools
• A team player with strong self-management, prioritization, and multitasking skills
• Familiar with public cloud platforms and Saa S security solutions (experience with AWS is an advantage)
• Independent, self-motivated, and able to take ownership of tasks
