Due to the recent expansion of our Swords workshops, we are recruiting for a yard shunter driver. With over 8 acres of land and capability to park over 100 trailers, this role requires great attention to detail and strong communication skills. TTW can offer great career progression to the right candidates who have a "can do" mentality.
The main role of the yard shunter is to manage the parking in the entire depot, direct customers attending the site as to where to park and to support the 13 bay trailer workshop by exchanging trailers for repair and removing completed ones. In addition to the shunting task, the shunter driver will be responsible for rental check in / check outs, liaising with the hire department in order to efficiently complete this task in priority order.
Workshop opening and closing procedures are also carried out as part of the role.
Experience needed:
Full Artic licence.
Yard shunting experience.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to follow direction and planning.
Hours of work - 07:00 - 17:00
