This established community pharmacy are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join their team in Co. Laois. The successful applicant will have a minimum of 1 year experience in Irish community pharmacy, and is enthusiastic about providing excellent care and support to customers and patients.
Responsibilities:

• Filling and dispensing prescriptions; managing monitored dosage systems.
• Responsible for verifying and sending monthly claims to the HSE.
• Liaise with drug wholesalers to order stock; ensure correct stock rotation and minimise wastage.
• Liaise with doctors and healthcare professionals to ensure correct medication prescription and dosage.
• Maintain a sterile and neat dispensary to ensure safe and efficient workflow.
• Collaborate with and support pharmacists and pharmacy team.

Opening hours: Monday - Friday 9am-6pm; Saturday 9.30am-6pm
Software system: MPS
Rate of pay: €16.00+ per hour (negotiable dependent on experience)
Experience: Minimum of 1 year Irish Pharmacy Technician Experience required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From €16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
