Medgen Healthcare Ireland are seeking a compassionate and experienced Paediatric Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in paediatric care, excellent communication skills, and a passion for working with children. As a Paediatric Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and providing direct patient care in a hospital or clinic setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents.
Monitor patients' conditions and record vital signs.
Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations.
Assist pediatricians with examinations and procedures.
Educate families on managing their child’s health at home.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Respond quickly to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions.

Candidate Requirements:

Registered by the NMBI.
A minimum of 6 months experience as a Paediatric Staff Nurse in an acute general hospital.
Notify appropriate nursing and medical staff to changes in the patient's status.
Efficient recording of all necessary documentation.
Deliver designated nursing interventions to assigned patients.
Perform duties and assume responsibility for care of assigned patients

Person Specification:

Excellent interpersonal and team building skills.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Valid eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland - Irish/EU passport, Visa, or Stamp.
Drivers license is advantageous.
