Catalyx is seeking a Maintenance Engineering Manager to work on our customer site based in Cork.

The Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all utility systems on site while also ensuring a maintenance programme is in place as well as managing corrective maintenance activities and identifying replacement utilities capital.

Responsibilities:

Manage a team of maintenance and engineering professionals responsible for the maintenance of utility systems.
Provide technical expertise in the maintenance and engineering of utility systems.
Develop and implement maintenance programs for all utility systems.
Oversee the installation, commissioning, and start-up of new utility systems.
Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot utility system issues.
Develop and manage the maintenance budget for all utility systems.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve the reliability and efficiency of utility systems.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
5+ years of experience in maintenance and engineering of utility systems.
Experience working with both GMP and Non-GMP Utilities.
Strong knowledge of HVAC, compressed air, steam, and water treatment systems.
Ability to conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot utility system issues.
Experience in managing maintenance and engineering teams.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards.
