Manor West Hotel and Zero Gravity Gym are seeking a Leisure Club Professional to provide exceptional health and fitness instruction and ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our members and guests. You will report to the Leisure Club Manager and Leisure Club Supervisor. Key Responsibilities include but is not limited to:
Deliver high-quality health and fitness instruction.
Ensure the safety and well-being of members and guests.
Oversee and implement fitness, gym, and pool programs.
Maintain cleanliness and operational standards.
Handle reception duties, including bookings and cash handling.
Teach fitness classes and swim lessons to high standards.
Conduct inductions, fitness tests, and client reviews.
Address customer complaints professionally and empathetically.
Stay updated with fitness trends and pursue professional development.
Attend meetings, training sessions, and perform flexible tasks as needed.
Follow all health and safety procedures.
Qualifications / Experience necessary:
Previous experience in the Health and Leisure sector of at least 2 years.
Qualification in Health and Leisure preferably NCEF or an awarding REP’s Body.
Pool Lifeguard, Swim Teacher (Assistant / Full).
Qualifications in Current Fitness Trends such as, but not limited to; Zumba, Pilates, TRX, Spinning, Les Mills.
First Aid, Garda Vetting, Child Protection.
Strength & Conditioning experience will provide an advantage.
Experience with group instruction, individual instruction is crucial.
Experience in Administration of a range of Health and Performance related tests with adequate interpretation of test results, followed by exercise prescription.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, essential for cultivating positive interactions and building rapport with guests and colleagues.
Reliable, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively.
Adhere to Health & Safety, Fire, Hygiene, Customer Care, and Security policies.
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanour.
Team player with effective collaboration skills and effective interdepartmental communication
Ability to stand for extended period of times and perform the physical requirements of this position.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
