Kennedys Home & Garden is a busy retail store with a focus on House & Home, Paint and Garden Center along with providing solutions for DIY problems around the home.
We are currently recruiting for the following position.
Sales Person in our DIY, Paint, House & Home departments.
A position has come available within our sales team for a person who is interested in developing their career in retail in a fast moving customer focused environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Maintaining and servicing existing customers and accounts.
Increasing sales across all product ranges in store.
Technical advise to our customers across all product ranges.
Maintaining a high level of merchandising in store.
Providing a high level of customer service to our customers.
Managing stock on a daily basis.
You will work closely with our management team and will be focused on constant improvements in store and generating and increasing sales.
This is a permanent position for at least four to five days per week.
The ideal candidate:
Must be ambitious and have an ambition to develop a career as part of a high performing team.
Previous retail sales experience and exceptional merchandising skills with DIY, Paint and House & Home products.
Will have a strong knowledge of DIY , Paint and Hardware products.
Strong communication skills / Good IT skills
Is costumer focused and target driven.
Be self motivated and work well as part of a team.
