Floor Staff - Full Time Please note; Pay is scaled to experience. ABOUT THE JOB EEC Hardware is currently looking for additional members for our Floor Staff. This role is social and all applicants are expected to maintain a high standard of customer service as they interact with the public. A strong willingness to learn is a major advantage as the role will often require knowledge of a vast variety of products to better assist customers. The ideal candidate will have a history of organisation, as the management of product stock levels demands a eye for detail. General responsibilities would be as follows;
Assisting customers face to face, using a generalised knowledge of store layout and products.
The use of our ERP / Till system to process purchases.
The maintaining of goods inwards onto the shop floor, stocking, laying out, and pricing products.
Ensuring a tidy, clean and organised work enviroment.
As the role is Full-Time ONLY and NOT entry-level, previous sales experience is essential with all new employees receiving training on our systems. This role offers progression, towards the management of own sections through stock upkeep and towards our trade counter as a Sales Assistant. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We're looking for a motivated, organised and sales driven candidate that will actively assist customers in a friendly manner. The ideal candidate would proactively learn the stock to better assist customers, even becoming familiar with regulars to better assist any inquiries. Essential
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for assisting customers.
A strong ability to work well under pressure during busy seasons.
A high level of organisation and attention to detail for the maintaining of stock.
Basic Computer Literacy - (general computer usage for processing transactions)

Relevant experience in a similar role
Experience organising stock and handling goods inwards to the shelf.
Experience assisting difficult customers, helping to resolve their issue.
