Title: Digital Marketing & Ecommerce with Toymaster Cavan - Toy & Nursery Store
Position Overview: Toymaster Cavan, a premier Toy and Nursery Store, is seeking a talented Digital Marketing & Ecommerce expert to join our team. This multifaceted role involves enhancing our social media presence, plus preparing for and executing the launch of our Shopify website. We have a new brand ready to launch and as such want to build brand awareness to increase footfall both in-store and online. If you're a creative and strategic digital marketer with ecommerce experience and a passion for toy and baby products, we'd love to hear from you. We see this as an onsite role where the successful candidate is fully immersed in our business. We have a flexible approach to this role in order to secure the right candidate and as such we are happy to consider employment or freelance contract on a part time or full time basis. Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Marketing:
Develop and implement digital marketing strategies to enhance Toymaster Cavan's presence across various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok.
Create engaging and visually appealing content to highlight our diverse range of toys and baby products.
Implement social media campaigns to promote special offers, new arrivals, and seasonal promotions.
Analyze social media metrics to evaluate performance and optimize future campaigns to maximise ROI.
Shopify Website Preparation and Launch:
Collaborate with the team to finalise and launch our new Shopify website, ensuring it aligns with our brand and meets our customers' needs.
Create and upload product listings, ensuring accurate descriptions, high-quality images, and appropriate categorization.
Develop a pre-launch marketing strategy to generate buzz and anticipation for the new website.
Execute the launch plan, including promotional campaigns across social media and other digital channels.
Monitor website analytics post-launch to track performance, user engagement, and sales, making adjustments as needed.

Requirements:

Proven experience in digital marketing, with a focus on social media management and content creation.
Experience with Shopify, including website setup, product listing, and e-commerce best practices.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective best practices, algorithms, and trends.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail and brand consistency.
Creative thinking and the ability to generate compelling content that resonates with our audience.
Proficiency in social media and website analytics tools to track performance and derive actionable insights.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
Passion for toy and baby products, and staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience working with retail or consumer goods brands, particularly in the toy or baby products sector.
Knowledge of SEO principles and strategies to optimize social media content and website listings for search.
Familiarity with social media advertising platforms, such as Facebook Ads Manager and Instagram Ads.
Graphic design skills and proficiency in tools like Adobe Photoshop or Canva are a plus.
Achieved a Digital Marketing qualification and completed other related platform courses.
