Care Manager

Irewil Care have just set up it’s presence in Ireland and has been providing Home Care & Care Assistance since 2015 mainly in Northern Ireland under Medcom Personnel Ltd brand, ensuring quality care and companionship in the comfort of each clients home. Due to continued expansion and growth within the company, Irewil Care are now hiring Care Manager.
As the successful candidate, you will be commercially minded, quality-driven, and have experience leading teams. These positions are an essential part of our growth strategy.

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Ensure the provision of high-quality care services to vulnerable people living in their own home.
  • Manage all aspects of day-to-day operations and ensure effective communication to all staff levels.
  • Ensure that all staff are capable and confident to carry out their roles by identifying development and training needs.
  • Manage and deploy teams of Care Workers who provide care and support to vulnerable adults.
  • Ensure consistent application of company’s policies, procedures and approved practice and to promote the aims of Irewil Care.
  • Participate in and contribute to the strategic management of Right at Home
  • Ensure that sufficient staff are recruited to fulfil the needs of Clients.
  • Ensure that Client reviews are carried out and recorded in line with the requirements of the Irish Health Care System and the Local Authority.
  • Meet and exceed all quality/financial/growth targets.
  • Liaise with the office team to plan marketing activity and spend and make recommendations to your line manager.
  • Responsible for the health and safety of staff and Clients by ensuring that the company Health and Safety policy and procedure are applied at all times, ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Ensure that the requirements of the Data Protection Act (and any subsequent revisions of the Act) are met in full especially in relation to Client and Care Worker records.
  • Other duties as appropriate to the grade and nature of the position as may be reasonably delegated by management.

Requirements
  • At least 1 year of Leadership and People management skills
  • At least 1 years’ experience in Home Care Sector or Community Care Sector
  • Excellent written & Oral communication skills
  • Reporting, IT, PC skills Word, Excel.
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Critical thinking skills
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and strong work ethic
  • Well organized and process driven.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent marketing skills would be an added advantage
