We require a Afterschool Manager for our school in Louth.

Main Duties and responsibilities for Afterschool Managers:

• Manage staff, and responsible for delegating duties
• Daily management of the centre, including, admin and report completion
• Planning and develop indoor and outdoor activities in response to the children’s interests and the centre's scheduled activities
• Supervising and supporting the Afterschool Children to complete homework in a timely manner
• Coordinating weekly Team meetings to ensure effective communication and planning of sports coaching and activities
• Observing, monitoring and recording where necessary the wellbeing of the children.
• Maintaining accurate attendance records on the children, in addition to other regulatory records.
• Maintaining close, effective, working partnerships with parents to ensure the wellbeing of their children.
• Meeting and greeting parents in a positive and friendly manner each day.
• Inform parents on any events they can contribute or participate in.

To be a successful candidate for this role:

• Minimum 2 years experience in working with children 4yrs-12yrs
• 1 year supervisory experience is essential (in a childcare setting is desirable)
• Fetac L5 in childcare is essential
• Fluency in Irish is essential
• Arts & Crafts experience
• Sports qualification is desirable but not essential
• Own Transport and Driving license is essential
• Dynamic and flexible approach to tasks essential excellent communication skills
• Applicants must be available Monday – Friday, 1pm – 6.30pm
• C1 level of English Qualification.
