Job Summary
Sandvik is seeking applications from motivated individuals for the Site Support Team Leader position based in Batu Hijau, Sumbawa.
The role is responsible to direct and co-ordinates the daily activities of a team of engineers and technical staff. Plan, prioritize and manage activities; prioritize tasks and assign team members to ensure that the team’s resources are used effectively and that the agreements are fulfilled.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Select, lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of professional Engineers and technical and administrative support staff to ensure that engineering operations are completed on-time, within budget, and as per the set goals.

Ensure implementation of projects for deliverables within the organizations scope.

Follow up and conduct performance management of operations.

Develop operations according to best practice.

Organize, plan and directs the daily activities of a team.

Communicate all activities that impact on equipment performance to the Customer at all levels from technicians / operators through Mine Management

Perform regular equipment health checks.

Analyze and diagnose performance of equipment.

Monitor parts usage patterns and liaise with inventory controllers to ensure appropriate stock levels.

Identify and analyses causes of damage and/or malfunction.

Inspect operational and maintenance practices and provide recommendations to customers and personnel.
PLANNING AND REPORTING
-
Create career development programs for the team and develop medium-term planning for the growth of the process.

Assist in Analyzing Planning and Updating reliability and preventative support tasks.

Performing regular reporting of team activities.
COLLABORATION WITH OTHER BUSINESS LINE
Parts Department (Parts Manager, PSSR, CSSR).
SUPERVISION / ACT AS A COACH

Service Technicians.

Workshop Technicians.
HEALTH & SAFETY

Make improvements to create a safe working environment.

Participate in safety issue reviews and investigations.

Implement product safety and service bulletins.

Prepare and execute all activities in line with EHSQ rules, regulations, procedures, instructions, guidelines, and promote awareness, including addressing anomalies.
EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES

5-8 years of experience in a similar field, with proven experience in managing engineering or technical service teams.

Hands-on experience in field service operations, project management, and resource planning.

Experience in implementing operational best practices and managing budgets.
EDUCATION, LICENCES & CERTIFICATES

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technical Management, or other graduate with equivalent experience in related field.

Advanced technical qualifications or certifications may be advantageous.

Intermediate English proficiency (CEFR Level C1) is preferable.
