Research Psychologist
Responsibilities
- Use knowledge of psychological theory and practice
- Exhibit superior communication skills to uncover complicated mental health issues
- Score and collate data, manage relevant databases, and write detailed neuropsychological reports.
- Attend research and clinical meetings, liaising with research and clinical staff to ensure compliance with clinical trial requirements
- Assist with ethics applications, reporting to funding bodies, and prepare written and visual materials for study dissemination
- Gather, formulate, and evaluate data and other research material
- Distinguish between facts, assumptions, and theories
- Assist in the development and evaluation of technical and administrative procedures
- Create, review, revise, and update research materials
- Develop and publish reports, journal articles, books, and presentations
- Develop and conduct studies, tests, and surveys
- Identify and suggest new areas of research
- Evaluate and review the work done by others
- Support the work of colleagues, peers, and supervisors
