Job Overview:
Conduct business & perform duties/tasks in accordance with Mc Dermott’s Code of Business Conduct, HSES and Mc Dermott’s Quality Policies. Responsible for the E&I Works of the Projects and thus Productivity factor. Responsible for developing a detailed Plan for the works in terms of schedule & resources. Supervise the activities of the E & I department and to ensure a close interface between Clients, PMT and Fabrication. Responsible for co-coordinating and implementing the most productive use of material and equipment for allocated project. Responsible for co-coordinating and implementing the most productive and cost effective use of manpower for allocated project.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards and housekeeping
- To be fully familiar and aware of the project scope of work
- Responsible for management and maintenance of installation schedules
- Clearly delegate actions and responsibilities to subordinates, clearly defining deliverable requirements in terms of scope and schedule to the team
- Provide leadership, direction and sound decision making on behalf of the department
- Responsibility for the maintenance and control of the department's financial budgets
- Responsible for ensuring that each employee is adequately trained and qualified to execute his work assignment competently and safely
- Effectively communicate and liaise with other departments and colleagues
- Continually review and institute measures for improvement by modification to operating procedures/ work instructions
- Fully understand and proactively invoke the Company HSE Policy, Philosophy and Procedures
- Attend client site meetings as required and respond to client queries
- Responsibility for the safety of all personnel
- Perform periodic audits to ensure that all procedures are being complied with
- High standard of safe working practice, quality and productivity as well as compliance with Code of Business Conduct
Essential Qualifications and Education:
- Minimum Diploma graduate and/or possess E&I experience
