Location: Metropolitan Remand Centre Role Type: Part Time, Ongoing (0.8 FTE) About The Role: Bendigo Kangan Institute is one of Victoria's largest TAFE providers. As a Teacher-ATSI , you'll play a crucial role in the rehabilitation and education of individuals within the correctional system. Your dedication to delivering high-quality vocational education and training in ATSI, along with conducting competency-based assessments, will contribute significantly to the holistic development of the students. Working within the Corrections teams, you'll be part of a collaborative environment focused on achieving positive outcomes for students. We are excited about you because you have:
TAE40110 or TAE40116 (including TAEASS501 and TAELLN411) or higher VET teaching qualification, or are currently enrolled with the view of completing this within two years.
Vocational qualifications and competencies
Strong communication and engagement skills
Problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a team and autonomously.
Competent in Windows software applications
Innovative teaching approach, embraces change.
