Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Manage incoming reservations, record them accurately, and communicate reservation status to the appropriate staff members.
- Efficiently coordinate seating arrangements based on table availability, party size, and guest preferences.
- Estimate wait times during busy periods and effectively communicate them to guests.
- Assist guests with inquiries, provide information about the restaurant's offerings, and handle any concerns or complaints professionally.
- Maintain a tidy and organized entrance area, including the waiting area and promotional materials.
- Collaborate closely with the waitstaff, bartenders, and management to ensure efficient guest flow and seamless coordination.
- Promote daily specials, new menu items, and promotions to enhance the dining experience and potentially increase sales.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment for both guests and staff.
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Knowledge of reservation management systems and basic computer skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
