An Expeditor is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of materials, goods, and services necessary for a project or ongoing business operations. They coordinate with suppliers and vendors to monitor order progress and resolve any delays, ensuring that materials arrive on time and meet quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Track the progress of orders and ensure materials are delivered according to schedule.
• Communicate and negotiate regularly with suppliers and vendors to confirm shipping dates, resolve delays, and expedite urgent orders.
• Collaborate with purchasing, production & engineering, and project management teams to identify and prioritize critical orders.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, delivery timelines, and potential delays.
• Troubleshoot any shipping or delivery issues and coordinate with relevant departments to find solutions.
• Prepare status reports on orders and deliveries for stakeholders.

Job Qualifications:
Ø Familiar with FMCG Manufacturing Industry
Ø Bachelor's degree in logistics, engineering, supply chain management, business administration, or any related field.
Ø 0-2 years of experience in procurement, logistics, expediting or a similar role.
Ø Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ø Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ø Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Ø Knowledge of shipping, transportation, and delivery processes.
Ø Good ability to read, write, and speak English
