Creates a marketing and sales communications plan with specific goals and budgets, taking into account segmentation mix and market dynamics in order to maximize the value of digital and traditional media.
Assures delivery of the hotel's vision in collaboration with the executive committee and department heads.
Establishes a working plan for achieving goals, and ensures that the teams are fully informed of goals and progress.
Coordinates the hotel's marketing communications activities in a strategic manner.
Monitors and measures the effectiveness of marketing activities on a regular basis and optimizes plans as needed.
Regularly monitors marketing activities of competitors and trends within the industry and shares key learnings.
Establishes appropriate budgets to support communications initiatives and allocations to hotel business units.
In conjunction with the sales and revenue leadership, prepares a monthly outlook/forecast for related expenses and returns for management to review.
Developing new products/programs and guest services in all revenue generating departments with the objective of exceeding guest expectations.
Develop and implement a comprehensive plan of action that addresses the following: Brand Marketing, Public Relations, Advertisements, Social Media, Partnership marketing, Sponsorship Marketing, Loyalty Marketing, Collateral Production, Giveaway, etc.
Content Strategy:
Ensures alignment of brand guidelines and templates by supervising the in-house designer (or design agency).
Manages the quality and high standards of all sales promotional aids, tools, and merchandising items.
Digital Marketing
Ensure that hotel information is regularly updated on the hotel's website as well as all other digital channels.
Works with Field Marketing and Digital teams to develop a digital marketing strategy for the property; works with sales and revenue teams to set goals for campaigns and evaluate their success. Marketing communications planning should be incorporated into the annual marketing communication plan.
Provides leadership to a marketing team that includes advertising agencies, PR agencies, design agencies, and other media agencies to develop and implement marketing campaigns and media plans for the hotel and its various business units (venues, spa, etc.).
Manages the on-property marketing team and a social media agency on social media content calendar planning, content development, campaigns, and mini activities.
