The Chief/Assistant Chief Engineer will provides a high level of property maintenance knowledge. Position has overall responsibility for maintaining the building with particular attention towards safety, security and asset protection. Accountable for managing the budget, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance and energy saving. Develops and implements strategies that will deliver products and services, which meet or exceed the needs and expectations of guests and employees while maximizing the financial performance. Leads the emergency response team for all facility issues and Responsible for maintaining standards and regulatory requirements. Job Description :
Responsible for performance of technician team and building engineering operation included Security.
Control, supervise, and evaluate physical condition of facilities, machines, tools and equipment’s as property standards
Performing quality control checks on all systems and products
Communicate with guests and completes as appropriate to resolve maintenance issues.
Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen and mechanical room equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
Display basic knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in the following categories: air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and/or general building.
Carrying out Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and maintenance of building equipment and supplies Create operational budgets in Dept. Engineering Operation of building mechanical, electrical and civil instrument systems
Manage technician schedules and tasks,
Performing quality control checks on all systems and products.
Monitor perimeter alarm systems, duress alarms, and fire life safety systems.
Conduct daily physical hazard inspections.
Assist guests/employees during emergencies, notify appropriate individuals in the event of accidents, attacks, or other incidents. Defuse guest/employee disturbances.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related.
Minimum 3 years 4 or 5 Star Hotel experience, Mall or Office Building with proven track records
Fluent in English.
Strong Leadership skills.
Proficient in Interpersonal and Communication skills.
Problem solving ability and capability to manage unexpected situations.
Results and service oriented with an eye for details.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, on 24/7 standby, proactive and sense of urgency with a “can do” attitude is a must.
Passionate about delivering great quality customer service.
Able to work independently and must also be a good team player with high work ethic and integrity
