Head of Plant Supply Chain Management

Responsibilities:
> Ensure the achievement of logistics goals according to internal and external customer expectations
> Drive the implementaiton of programs and initiatives to minimize logistics cost and optimize inventories and delivery performance
> Initiating and implementing the process improvements and productivity measures, to secure the plant and BU targets
> Plan, control and optimize the availability and qualification of the necessary logistics man power in order to assure the success of the organization.
> Involvement of the global Supply Chain Management Cluster for staffing of logistical key functions within Vitesco Technologies.
> Assessing particular risks and market opportunities for the progress of business, in order to avert possible damage or prevent problems by taking suitable measures.
Requirements:
> Experience at a multinational manufacturing company, preferably within the automotive industry.
> Experience at logistic management (including Logistics policies, systems and processes)
> Fluent English skills (written and spoken).
> Strong leadership skills (at least 3 years).
> Experience with Focus Custom/Import/Export/Transportation/Warehousing Processes
> Experience in working with international teams on Logistic topics
> Understanding for different foreign cultures (NAFTA, Asia, several European cultures)
