In 2024, Ella Resorts is operating a portfolio of 7 lifestyle & family resorts on the islands of Rhodes, Corfu & Crete, offering exceptional quality and service excellence. In order to support our rapid growth we are seeking to hire an experienced Restaurant Manager.
Position Summary Our new Restaurant Manager will be an ambassador of our F&B Service Excellence Culture at our fully renovated resort in Corfu, opening its doors for the season 2025. She/he will be responsible for supervising and developing the restaurant team, and providing high quality services and memorable experiences to our guests. The Restaurant Manager oversees the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of food quality, customer service, and staff performance to deliver an excellent guest experience. Additionally, she/he is also required to manage, train, and develop team members and work within all guidelines. Her/his mission is to create a welcoming and efficient environment that maximizes customer satisfaction, drives revenue, and maintains profitability, all while ensuring compliance with health, safety, and operational standards. The role integrates leadership, financial management, and customer focus to achieve the restaurant’s key objectives.
Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Restaurant Operations
Manages day-to-day operations, drives quality, and verifies standards are meeting the expectations of the guests daily
Controls, analyzes and ensures the improvement of the quality level of the provided services and guest’s satisfaction
Ensures the team performance, increased sales and profitability, effective cost controls, and development, training, and retention of key associates
Respects and follows the instructions and decisions of the F&B Manager/General Manager and other managers
Allocates work schedules ensuring equal distribution of workloads
Ensures cleanliness of equipment and restaurant area
Streamlines food and beverage operation to reduce waste and improve efficiency in collaboration with the F&B Manager
Participating in workforce planning
Participating in menu development
Ensuring operation compliance, based on brand standards
Leadership
Leads the supervised staff with professional and tactful approach to the own job and the work of the colleagues
Communicates and trains continuously the leaded staff
Ensures the development, professional growth and correctly evaluates the leaded staff
Listening and guiding as well as demonstrating care with associate well-being in order to maintain a healthy working environment
Provides coaching and on-the-job training to team members
Attending training and meetings when required
Financial Management
Ensures that operated units activities meet financial and operating goals
Maximizing revenue through pricing strategies and upselling techniques
Monitoring and managing the revenues and profit in collaboration with the F&B Manager
Achieving the yearly budgets and goals
Compliance and Quality Control
Ensures all safety and security systems and procedures are followed to ensure health and safety of employees and guests
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards
Being fully familiar with and act upon Food Safety and HACCP regulations and procedures
Ensuring the consistent quality of food and beverage offerings
Conducting regular inspections and quality audits
Guest Satisfaction
Follows and maintain the Ella Resorts Service Standards to ensure the highest guest satisfaction
Ensures that each customer is welcomed into the establishment and seated in a timely manner. For special patrons, he/she personally takes orders, ensuring that top of the line service is delivered
Provides services that are above and beyond for guest satisfaction and retention
Ensuring excellent customer service and addressing guest feedback and complaints
Requirements
3+ years working experience in a similar role in the 5-star hotels or high-volume venues
Degree / Diploma in Tourism
Very Good knowledge of English language
A second language (French, German, Russian, or Italian) will be considered as a plus
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
Team-player, able to collaborate with associates and other departments
Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations
Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
Exceptional customer service skills
Should be adaptable and able to handle unexpected situations
