Purpose:
At Demo SA, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical manufacturers in injectable facilities, we are currently looking for a high-performing Quality Control Microbiology LAB Analyst. The position is based at Thessaloniki.

Main duties and responsibilities:
Perform a wide variety of microbiological tests in accordance to GMP requirements and SOPs
Complete microbiological analysis accurately on any pharmaceutical product, in-process material, raw material or stability sample
Collect, calculate and record analysis of data.
Promptly report any deviations or out of specifications result and assist where required with investigations
Prepare reagents/solutions, microbial stock cultures or culture media

Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or relevant field with post graduate studies (MSc) in Biology, Biotechnology or Biochemistry
Basic knowledge of microbiology and aseptic techniques (sterility testing, microbial enumeration testing, determination of bacterial endotoxin content, bioassay)
Previous experience in Pharmaceutical Industry or relevant field will be considered as an asset
Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills
Fluent in Greek & English
