Senior Logistician

Description & Requirements

Man Tech is seeking a skilled, professional, and service-oriented Senior Logistician to join our vehicle sustainment team. The selected candidate will provide maintenance and logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Provides leadership and management for all assigned logisticians and supply clerks.
Analyze and coordinate the logistical functions of a firm or organization.
Responsible for the entire life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources.
Record, maintain, and initiate work order documentation for acquisition of component items from vendors.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or guidance.
Management within Global Combat Support System-Army, with delegated authority and accountability for a total property book.
Management of the inventory and scheduling of Primary Hand Receipt Holder Accounts and proper and timely keeping of all account property records.
Advise management on proper procedures for processing Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPLs) investigations of lost, stolen, or destroyed property.
Serve as point of contact and advisor for auditors, inspectors, and investigators, by explaining and justifying overall local policies and procedures used to account for property.
Management of the records for all leased, loaned and borrowed equipment, and the management of the records for all equipment transferred into and out of the Property Book
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Selected candidates must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must obtain or already have an active Germany/E.U. Work VISA to be considered.
3+ years of qualified logistical experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field (OR) 7+ years of qualified logistical experience and an associate degree in a related field (OR) 9+ years of qualified logistical experience.
Must have experience evaluating and approving property management procedures and techniques such as tracking, acquiring, receiving, storing, moving, consuming, using, and maintaining property.
Must possess the ability to use automated record keeping and/or database programs such as Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) to manage Supply Class II (2), and VII (7) property book items and inventory.
Must possess the ability to create Temp Loans, Equipment Packages, and Hand Receipts for the lateral transfer, or turn-in/return of equipment.
Experience in receipt, accountability, and inventory of equipment and spare parts.
Experience in inventory and requisition supplies and maintaining stock of supplies and equipment.
Ability to meet the government deployment physical requirements, if needed.
Experience in operating material and handling equipment.
Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.
Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Possession of a valid European or German driver's license is required (OR) the ability to obtain a valid driving license before beginning employment.

Desired Qualifications:

Familiarity with military or commercial logistics supply systems as well as automated and manual supply systems and equipment serviceability standards and criteria.
Knowledge of Federal shipping and logistic regulations.
Willingness to travel to various US or OCONUS locations in support of program customers.

Clearance Requirements:

Must have active Secret clearance.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
Must be able to work in high noise areas.
Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.
Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
