ERP Finance Systems Specialist (m/f/d)

Become a part of our talented deugro team, as we look for a ERP Finance Systems Specialist (m/w/d) in Hanau, Germany.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day, support, maintenance, and improvement of the financial system and other integrated systems
- Receiving, understanding, and processing requirements from different departments, especially from IT
- Responsible for problem solving and testing of the financial system
- Function as support level 1 for all users of the financial system
- Error handling process (understanding of error messages and what it may mean and impact)
- Documentation and knowledge sharing of solutions and best practices
- Close collaboration with the accounting team in a global environment
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics with (business) computer science
- Some finance processes, accounting processes experience in a multi-national environment
- Experience in Project Management and a good process understanding
- Relevant experience in supporting financial systems such as (SAP; Oracle, etc.)
- Reading comprehension of codes like SQL statements, VBA macros
- Understanding a complex software architecture (the interaction of various software tools, specifically financial systems)
- Experience in the logistics industry is a plus
- Very good communication skills in English are required, German is highly desirable
