Your role
§ You manage the weekly purchase requisitions for all issued purchase orders, as well as confirmation requests and overdue requests for ADM The Netherlands and other locations
§ You will issue, monitor and manage all purchase orders within The Netherlands ADM entities to ensure they are delivered on time and in accordance with company requirements
§ You will closely cooperate with Capex Category Specialists/ Leaders and report to EMEAI CAPEX Category Manager
§ You will assist in the implementation of strategic sourcing contracts
§ You will conduct RFQs and negotiate capex contracts accordingly to corporate category strategy within given threshold on this position
§ You keep track of Capex procurement strategy goals and procure-to-pay metrics (purchase orders before invoicing, PO cycle time, on-time delivery, PO consolidation, and others)
§ You work with the shared services team across multiple locations to ensure timely deliveries and payment of vendor invoices
§ You provide relationship management with suppliers to ensure effective communication and early identification and resolution of potential issues, if any
§ You ensure that the correct item or standard service numbers are used on all purchase orders, as well as contracted vendors

Your profile
§ You have a successfully completed apprenticeship or degree in business, finance, engineering or similar
§ You have been able to gain initial professional experience, preferably in purchasing at a global company
§ You have experience in operational purchasing and have initial commercial knowledge of contract law
§ You have a certain IT affinity (e Procurement and P2P systems, standard office suite)
§ You like to contribute to strategy development and enjoy project management
§ You have a global awareness of culture, currencies, geography, politics, etc.
§ You can easily communicate English and German is a plus (written and spoken)
§ You have a valid European work permit
