BIM Modeller Construction Phase (Onsite)

Opportunity:
Our client, a General Contractor very experienced in the construction of the Data Centre, has been assigned the role of GC1 for the CSA of a 30 MW Data Centre in Hanau. They require the development of the Riba Stage 5 design from Quark and the support of the construction team during the whole construction phase.
Responsibilities:
PLANNING

Receive the list of tasks from the design manager and give an estimate of the time needed.
Identify modelling problems, assess their impact on project planning, and report them to the project manager.
Prepare BIM models for coordination with other actors.

PRODUCTION

Working directly with the General Contractor (GC) Team (CSA) at the Works Site.
Create and develop the BIM model from the information and documents provided by the Construction team.
Perform the modelling tasks necessary to meet the requirements of the deliverables.
Generate and issue project documents from the model.

COMMUNICATION

Coordinate with other members of the Project team to ensure consistency of model and project documentation.

QUALITY

Resolve assigned interference problems.

Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience in BIM modelling, preferably in the construction industry.
Ability to collaborate with other members of the BIM team, such as the BIM COORDINATOR and consultants, to ensure coordination and consistency of the BIM model.
Proficiency in BIM modelling software: Autodesk Revit / Navisworks /Auto CAD…
Ability to create and develop BIM models, following established standards and guidelines.
Understanding of the technical and constructive aspects of construction projects.
Familiarity with relevant building codes and regulations, such as ISO19650 / German Regulations

Preferred:

High German Level
Experience in the construction of Data Centers
University degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or related fields
Working Experience in Germany
