Job Description: As a Marine Welder Foreman at Team Electric, you will play a crucial role in our fabrication team, responsible for welding and fabricating marine structures, piping systems, and equipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding on marine structures and components.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Conduct quality inspections to verify weld integrity and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and fellow craftsmen to optimize fabrication processes and improve efficiency.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your team.
- Proven experience as a welder, preferably in a marine or shipyard environment.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding techniques.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Certification in welding techniques (e.g., AWS certification) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with marine fabrication materials and processes is a plus.
