Welder for marine industry
We are looking for a MIG Welder for our client to work in the welding of ship hulls and cabins in Teijo, approximately 20 minutes’ drive from Salo.
In this role, you will skillfully and carefully weld aluminum, ensuring that the highest quality standards are met in all welding tasks. The work is primarily done in a day shift, but readiness for two shifts is required. Overtime opportunities are available for those interested.
Your tasks will involve professional and precise welding of aluminum ship hulls and cabins. We expect you to be able to read technical drawings and work according to them. This job is an essential part of our client’s production of high-quality and high-performance vessels, which are used worldwide by professional operators in defense, coast guard, marine rescue, and specialized services such as pilotage, firefighting, and oil spill response.
Who we are looking for:
We hope you have previous experience working with aluminum and MIG welding. You should have the ability to read technical drawings, and proficiency in either Finnish or English is required. We value initiative, reliability, and a hardworking attitude. A background in metalwork or experience in various metalworking tasks is considered an advantage.
